Cougar football fans now must wait until December 3 to learn if the Crimson and Gray have a postseason contest in their future. That’s the date invitations to bowl games will be officially extended.

With six wins the Cougars are bowl-eligible. The Pac-10 has agreements to send its top six teams to bowls. The outcome of conference games played November 25 and December 2 will determine WSU's final place in the conference standings as well as which teams receive bowl invitations.

If the Cougars aren’t invited to a Pac-10 Conference affiliated bowl, there is the possibility they could receive an at-large bid to another bowl, such as the Poinsettia Bowl, to be played December 19 in San Diego.
